Welcome to my Substack account!

Now that I’ve got four science fiction books under my belt (and another releasing later this year), I find myself more engaged with topics on writing, literature (especially sci-fi and fantasy), and visual culture. This account will be my place to drop content that usually goes to my website newsletter for others on Substack who might be interested in reading along and engaging in conversation.

Who am I?

I’m a longtime educator who teaches at an art & design college on the east coast of the US. A few years back, I finally got up the nerve to write fiction… science fiction. Now I am obsessed.

I’ve written a space opera trilogy, Wind Tide, and a standalone spy-fi space adventure, Stellar Instinct, as well as had several short stories and flash fiction works published over the last two years.

My next book (a follow-up standalone spy-fi adventure titled, TO SPY A STAR) sees the return of Agent Lilline Renault as she takes on another GAM-OPs assignment to save the galaxy.

I’m a huge Star Wars fan (Andor is my recent favorite, and ROGUE ONE shines bright for me), an avid D&D player, and recently a convert to video games (PS4).
